BHPB intend to expand the mine’s capacity from 4,000 tonnes of yellowcake per annum to 19,000 tonnes, increasing with it the tailings pollution, greenhouse emissions, water consumption and destruction of indigenous land while contributing further to nuclear proliferation worldwide.
